Who We Are

LINK OF LOVE is a support and resource network created to serve the families of prisoners, as well as prisoners and ex-prisoners through initiatives, programs, and services that will strengthen family ties and relationships and support successful reintegration and reduce recidivism. We are an outreach of Eagle's Wings Ministries in Dover, DE. We are a faith-based outreach, however, we do not discriminate against any faith or circumstance.

We envision a world in which the families of prisoners, prisoners, and ex-prisoners are no longer ostracized, isolated, and devalued within society and the criminal justice system; a world where they are supported and afforded love, understanding, and opportunity to be recognized as valued members of society before, during, and post incarceration.

We endeavor to make that world a reality by:

  • Providing resources and support to the families of incarcerated men and women, prisoners, and to ex-prisoners.
  • Educating the general public and the criminal justice system about the vital role
that family support and successful reentry support plays in the life of prisoners and ex-prisoners.
  • Advocating for legislative and policy change that will: strengthen the family ties between prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families; increase habilitation and rehabilitation opportunities for prisoners; and reduce recidivism and make communities safer.
